Q.M.P. 15.8.1958
Realized on 1958, the work has been officially inaugurated on 15th August of the same year.
In the '50s, it has been created a town committee formed by the citizens of the parish of San Donnino. The committee has followed the phases of realization of the monument and it has put its signature on the commemorative tombstone.
The author of the monument is unknown.
The typology of the work, memorial stone surmounted by a cross, with commemorative tombstone on the front of the monument, has many analogies with the memorial stone of Cogna (Piazza al Serchio). We can say that the author, or the company which has made the two stones, could be the same, or we can suppose that the memorial stone of San Donnino, previously made, has been used as model for the monument of Cogna.
