The Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago is the only Festival in the world completely dedicated to the composer Giacomo Puccini. It takes place every summer in July and August, in the very places that inspired Maestro Puccini’s immortal melodies.

The Festival presented the first edition in 1930 and has become over the years an increasingly prestigious event which attracts a huge audience from all over the world. The Great Open Air Theatre with 3,400 seats, opens onto the Massaciuccoli Lake and is surrounded by a park just in front of the Villa where Puccini is buried.
