Hymn to the vivacity of invention, of experimenting with original solutions. The ambition is to offer, in a difficult moment, a contribution to the restart, probing artistic events of the second half of the twentieth century worthy of attention. The formula chosen is also innovative: this "adventure" is in fact made up of two separate exhibitions, set up by Arrigoni Architetti, with their respective catalogs, but united by a common thread: transmedia, creative audacity, exploration of forms of unpublished expression. The goal is to investigate a period of great ferment in Italy in the sixties, seventies and eighties, rediscovering multifaceted and inventive characters.
The exhibition on Cioni Carpi, curated by Angela Madesani, includes the artist's journey from about 1960 to the 1980s. About forty works are presented, including paintings, installations, photographic works, films, drawings, projects, books created in a single copy, documents.
The exhibition on Gianni Melotti, curated by Paolo Emilio Antognoli, documents the development of the early years of his artistic work, from experiments in black and white without the use of a camera to the colorful three-dimensional works made on decorated fabrics.
