Corea Now

From 5 May to 3 June, 2012, over sixty Korean artists are the protagonists of a large exhibition of sculpture in the town centre of Pietrasanta. Monumental works of various materials will be arranged in the Cathedral Square and Church Complex of Saint Agostino, while a collection of medium-sized and small sculptures by artists that have long worked at Pietrasanta will be on show at Palazzo Panichi. Over one hundred works will be on show for a full immersion in contemporary Korean art.
Following a similar event centred on Russia, Pietrasanta has for the second year running chosen to relate itself artistically with a foreign country. “Korea Now” is an initiative of the Town Council Office for the Arts in collaboration with the artist Eun Sun Park, who has long had ties with Pietrasanta and its cultural institutions.
