The province of Lucca is an area of unlimited beauty of nature, art and culture. Away from the main cities there are many characteristic places: hill and mountain villages, small towns with an extraordinary cultural heritage, villages clinging to the slopes of the Apennines and the Apuan Alps. Places of outstanding economic power and administration of the territory up to a recent past, hiding inside vestiges, traditions, craftsmanship that bind the past to the present.
