An itinerary through villages and natural wonders to enjoy one of the most historic and elegant towns in the Val di Lima: Bagni di Lucca.
From the historic centre of Bagni (InfoPoint – Tourist information office), walk towards the Pharmacy, turn right onto the narrow road that leads to the public library, located inside the English Church. From here you can choose whether to continue on the stone road or on the paved road. The Via dell'Amore begins in Bagno alla Villa and leads up to the Colle, through a beautiful natural landscape.
You can return to Bagni by going down towards the thermal baths, or you can stop at Bagni Caldi, before reaching the town of Ponte a Serraglio. A wide and shaded sidewalk will lead you back to Bagni di Lucca.
Duration: approximately 2 hours.
Difficulty: quite easy.
