Wim Delvoye - l'arte belga in San Cristoforo / Wim Delvoye – Belgian art in San Cristoforo

The one-man exhibition of work by the internationally famous contemporary artist Wim Delvoye was inaugurated 2 March, in the Church of S. Cristoforo.
9 pieces by the neo-conceptual Belgian sculptor enrich the Church form a striking contrast with the ornate lines of the Romanesque structure.

The location features an 11 metre high monumental tower (Untitled), exhibited at the Louvre in Paris since January 2013, seven bronze sculptures (Holy Family Series) and a sculpture commissioned especially for the Lucca exhibition in marble from the Apuan Alps (Double Coccyx).

The exhibition is open every day (10.00-20.00) until 1 September.
