Henri Cartier-Bresson: thief of images, testimony of history.

The Lucca Center of Contemporary Art has chosen the 16th century Boccella building to host an anthological exhibition dedicated to the French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson.

The moments, expressions and landscapes captured by these shots draw in the viewer, who becomes immersed in the fragments of the life and world they immortalise.

This talent is the hallmark of this artist; his combination of critical eye, instinct, boldness and the ability to foresee events, that lea him to immortalise such memorable moments.

The exhibition is open from 22 June to 3 November.
