“Postal Art” – PNEUMAtic circUS at Viareggio

Following on from the festival for digital art and culture Transmediale, Vittore Baroni brings the multimedial catalogue of PNEUMAtic circus to Versilia – a project of networked art, that makes use of the innovative platform OCTO P7C-1 for pneumatic post.

On the evening of 8 July, at LABORATORIO 21 in Viareggio, there will be video projections and interactive performances using a scaled down prototype of OCTO and a dj set by MGZ – Mauro Guazzotti.

There will also be presentations by Tatiana Bazzichelli, scholar of new media and curator of Transmediale, and the designer Jonas Frankki, member of the Berlin group elekommunisten which created the original pneumatic platform along with Raumlaborberlin and reSource transmedial culture berlin of the Transmediale festival.

The evening event is open to all, from 21.00 to 24.00.
