The organ in the parish church of San Michele Arcangelo was made between 1602 and 1606 for the church of San Francesco in Lucca by the venetian, Vincenzo Colonna. The instrument, which during its period of construction cost 380 gold coins, is a work of art in Venetian organ making and is highly esteemed from both an architectural and phonic point of view. The organ was put on sale in a public auction in 1885 and Annibale Ceragioli from Corsanico put in the highest bid on behalf of the village. The first concert season took place in the parish in 1982. Since then there have been many highly acclaimed musicians who have performed on the keyboards of Colonna’s organ.
