en years after his death, the Gaber Foundation has organised a series of events dedicated to “Mr G”.
In addition to the customary evening performances at Viareggio’s Cittadella 19 -20 June, this year’s festivities also extend to the towns of Camaiore, Lucca, Massarosa, Seravezza, Pietrasanta and Capannori, each with their own special homage to the artist.
Because of the exceptional nature of the event, the Gaber Festival 2013 – Decennial Special has been awarded with the Official Plate of the President of the Republic.
The 25 events will take place between 5 – 31 July.
All events, except the festival’s two headlining concerts in the Citadel, are free.

The Festival is organised by the Giorgio Gaber Foundation in collaboration with Massimo Bernardini, Alessandra Scotti and Raffaello Fusaro.
The new, maxi-edition of the Festival was formed by the Committee that has held regular meetings at Camaiore since 2013, with the support of the Regional Authorities of Tuscany and the Provincial Authorities of Lucca, Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca, Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation, Carnevale Foundation with the patronage of the Town Councils of Viareggio, Camaiore, Pietrasanta, Lucca, Massarosa, Seravezza and Capannori.
