Thursday 5 September at 5 p.m., in the wonderful setting of Villa Orlando’s garden in Torre del Lago Puccini, will take place the presentation of the guide book “VERSILIA. Percorsi di genere femminile. Passeggiata turistico culturale alla scoperta di una Versilia delle donne” by Maria Grazia Anatra. Roma, Iacobelli editore, 2013. Free admittance.
The guide, that lead us to discover or rediscover Versilia’s essence/soul, is articulated in four itineraries:

Blue Itinerary “Following Ondina’s footprints”: inside Viareggio and its carnival.

Red Itinerary “Waiting for Madam Butterfly”. This highlights Versilia’s natural landmarks and talks about the many women that started their enterprises here.

Green Itinerary “In the pine groves with Hermione”. This is dedicated to the arts, the shows and the holidays, with stops in all the most famous localities.

Purple Itinerary “Demeter, or: scents of sea and land”
The presentation will be attended by Maria Grazia Anatra and some of the other women writers that contributed to the guide.
