The world famous Colombian sculptor Gustavo Vélez has chosen Pietrasanta for his most important exhibition of 2013.
In fact, the artist’s ties with the town of sculpture is a central theme in the anthology exhibition of work in marble, steel and bronze that Vélez has produced since 2010.
The collection consists of 32 highly dynamic sculptures, some of which are 7 metres tall, that testify to the talent of who has been defined as the ambassador of Colombian art.
The exhibition will be divided between piazza Duomo and the Church of S. Agostino from 5 October to 8 December.
