“L’altra parte. Carte di lavoro” – 80 years of Antonio Possenti

The free exhibition “L’altra parte. Carte di lavoro” (“The other side. Work papers”) will be on show at Villa Guinigi from 7 December to 7 February.

The exhibition consists of 80 works created over the last thirty years by the now 80 year old Lucca-born artist Antonio Possenti.

With this exhibition Possenti retells the intimate and domestic part of his work. He puts together themes of everyday life that many will find similar to their own, valorising drawing as much as painting, and allowing the viewer to discover his way of experiencing his work and seeing the world.
