The Ugo Guidi Museum and Amici del Museo Ugo Guidi onlus present the sculpture exhibition “DUE – Fabrizio Lorenzani and Verena Mayer Tasch” under the aegis of the MIBAC Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
The exhibition, curated by Francesca Giovannetti, enables the meeting and dialogue between the works of two artists each with a long experience of study, experimentation, workshops and ongoing research; living side by side for some time, yet different and almost complementary in their work.
Verena Mayer Tasch redefines the common uses of objects, overturning their sense in a new reality, modified at the heart of its essence. She rethinks the everyday, modifying its dimensions and context, to arrive at a mysterious and perhaps previously unexplored elsewhere. Fabrizio Lorenzani gives life to a suspended reality, made of things and thoughts, physical, conceptual and almost sacral at the same time. Defying the law of gravity, he attempts with matter to open balanced passages towards the natural unknown: the sky, the sea, the land. (F. Giovannetti)
The exhibition, inaugurated 14 February, is open until 6 March at the Ugo Guidi Museum by appointment, and the Logos Hotel every Saturday from 17.00 to 19.00 and Sunday from 11.00 to 13.00.
