At the Real Collegio, in the old town centre of Lucca, an undoubtedly prestigious event takes shape; the exhibition “Emotions”, on show from 6 to 29 June, represents a meeting point for dozens of artists. The number of painters and sculptors from Lucca, by birth or choice, who exhibit their work in the rooms of the ex convent is indeed impressive.
The set-up of the exhibition space follows the different styles, themes and sensibilities of the authors, to establish a dialogue between works and their setting that draws the visitor into a flow of continuous and disparate emotions, as reflected by the title.
During the exhibition there will also be a number of associated events:
Friday 13 June the concert of the vocal ensemble “Nova Harmonia”;
Sunday 15 June the concert of the “Trio Rococò”;
Wednesday 18 June the “cARToLine dal Real Collegio”, attended by the Unicef Committee of Lucca;
and lastly, Sunday 22 June the “Belly dance and Indian dance”, organised by the “Fuori Centro” school.
In addition, there will also be the exhibitionl-installazione “La Via Francigena arriva a Baghdad?” by Vincenzo Moneta.
The exhibition is free and open every day: 10.00-13.00 and 16.00-20.00.
