Baita Film Group and Circolo Culturale Thìasos present Camaiore Film Festival 2014 that takes place 6, 7 and 8 June in the spectacular Villa Borbone delle Pianore in Capezzano Pianore.
This edition includes, in addition to the usual independent short film contest, a celebration of the work by Mario Monicelli. The three days of the festival include some very important shows, and projections and conferences about 1930s cinema in Versilia, and especially on the great director who passed away in 2010.
There are around 20 works by young authors that will be scrutinised and judged by a panel of experts, led by philosopher and university professor Salvatore Veca. These will be grouped into four categories: film, documentary, videoclip, animation&graphics.
