The monument is situated in a small garden near the local church. With a large base and a sculpted stone with dedicatory epigraphs, topped by a sculpture of a dying soldier lying on rocks on the ground, behind which stands the vertical figure of benedictory Christ.

The stone bears the date 4th November 1922 but the inauguration was 12th November 1922. A Remembrance park was created in the same hamlet 11th November 1923.
