The inauguration of the painting exhibition “Consonances” will take place at the Villa Gori Cultural Centre, Saturday 10 January 2015 at 16.30, organised in collaboration with the Mercurio Contemporary Art Gallery in Viareggio.
On show, paintings by Daniela Caciagli, Riccardo Corti, Marco Manzella, Guido Morelli, Armando Orfeo and Valente Taddei. The 6 artists – who have strong artistic backgrounds, with previous exhibitions throughout Italy and abroad – while different from each other in terms of style and aesthetic formation, are united by a deep spirit of research in the field of contemporary figurative painting, as well as by a compositional rigour and a formal precision which means the juxtaposition of their work in a shared exhibition is harmonious.
This occasion will also see the presentation of the Mercurio Contemporary Art Calendar 2015; an elegant object, illustrated with the images of the works on show in the exhibition, realised by the printing works S. Marco Litotipo in Badia di Cantignano.
The exhibition runs until 25 January 2015, everyday, from 16.30 – 19.30.
