One hundred years since the start of the Great War, il suo ricordo si fa estremamente vivido with the exhibition:”In the trenches like in hell”

A cento anni dall'inizio della Grande Guerra, il suo ricordo si fa estremamente vivido con la mostra:"In trincea come all'inferno" / One hundred years since the start of the Great War, il suo ricordo si fa estremamente vivido with the exhibition:"In the trenches like in hell"

From 8 November to 31 January, the Lazzareschi Foundation pierce the veil of space and time transforming the Palazzo di Vetro in Porcari into a war zone from World War I.

The entire ground floor will be transformed into trenches. Objects, sounds and images accompanying the exhibition allow the visitor to experience the discordant sensations of a soldier at war, guided by narrations and video-installations.

The exhibition, entitled “In the trenches like in hell also extends to the other floors of the palazzo, examining not only scientific and technological aspects, but also the testimonies of locals who lived through the war fighting on the front and those who struggled to survive at home.

The exhibition, with free entry, is curated by Aldo Caterino from the “M. Martini” Study Centre of the University of Trento. It bears the official logo from the Mission Structure for anniversaries of national interest from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
