“Gabbia-no” – Paolo Ruffini presents his ideal of freedom with an exceptional artistic project

From 11 December to 7 February, Piazza Duomo and the Church of Sant’Agostino in Pietrasanta will host the first exhibition by the actor, presenter and comedian Paolo Ruffini.

“Gabbia-no” is the title of the exhibition promoted and organised by Pietrasanta Town Council, Versiliana Foundation, Nido del Cuculo and Artitaly, under the artistic direction of Massimiliano Simoni.

Ranging from sketches and the display of mixed-technique works, produced by the great Viareggio masters of papier-mâché, the exhibition stirs and wants to diffuse an ideal of freedom, symbolised by the seagull (“gabbiano”) which is opposed to the cage (“gabbia”), that penetrates young hearts and minds.
