"Maurizio Bini – writes in the introduction to the catalog Nicholas Micieli – translates into everyday images captured as in a flash, what I called the dual nature. Ie the inclination to take lyrically, with delicate and anxious sentimental disposition reality, and the need to drop suggestively in the image the problematic context in which the same artist, as a man, is immersed. He returns to the canvas scenes and glimpses of everyday life such as suspended, however, in the absence of foreshadowing or metaphysical "references.
The works on display are divided into five sections: trees and vegetation, sea, still life, various shapes and themes to be able to present a significant cross-section of an artist who has worked for over 50 years.
Maurizio Bini fact approaches the painting movement called "New Figuration", for which the contribution proved decisive of technological visual media, primarily the photography and its derivatives, including the cinema. The decomposition unit figural scene in the presence of several spatial and temporal planes played simultaneously, smarginati cuts and focused, and details of partial, internal fragmentation of form beyond the "forcing" more or less clear of weaving and the pictorial space .
