Who were the Romans, were and how did the ancient inhabitants of the shores of Massaciuccoli live? The Department for Culture of the Municipality Massarosa and experts of the archaeological area Massaciuccoli invite you to participate in lectures, guided tours, games and workshops dedicated to ancient Rome. A very long and varied program that promises this year also to collect a broad consensus.

at 15:00 h. – Chiacchiere di archeologia (Chats on Archaeology), with the protagonists of the on-going researches in the area. Paid event.
Sunday, April 3
at 10:00 am – Archeotrekking. A walk through history and nature. By reservation.
Sunday, May 8
at 16:00/18 00 – Il profumo della storia (The scent of history). Multisensory workshop to produce a scent like the ancient Romans. By reservation.
Saturday, May 21
at 21:30/24:00 – Una notte nella storia (One night in history). Night visit to the archaeological site for the Night of Museums. Free admission, by reservation.
Sunday, June 5
at 16:00/19:00 – Puccini e il suo lago (Puccini and his lake). Musical encounter by Lisa Domenici and boat trip on the lake. By reservation.
Sunday June 12
at 16:00/18 00 – L'esercito romano. (The roman army). Let's get acquainted with one of the protagonists of the ancient Roman history, the army. Free event according to seats availability.
Saturday, July 23
at 21:30 – Le notti dell'archeologia (The nights of archeology). A night to discover again and to create the juwels of ancient Rome. Free admission by reservation according to seats availability.

at 21:30 – Belle come antiche romane (As beautiful as the women of ancient Rome). A night dedicated to fashion and to the hairstyle of the women of ancient Roman. Free admission by reservation according to seats availability.
