Spring air in the museums of Tuscany.
From May 14 to June 5, the museums of Tuscany open their doors to welcome children and adults with guided tours, presentations of works, special exhibitions, workshops, animations. A program with hundreds of different activities which share an identical passion: give back to the community its ultural heritage with proposals able to satisfy the curiosity of every visitor, because the museum is a friend who always guarantees a discovery and an emotion.
The subject matter chosen this year, which draws from the theme of International Museum Day ICOM is Museums and cultural landscapes. It will be possible to recount the effects and aspects, in various times and places, of human conditioning of the landscape, also in relation to the 50th anniversary of the great flood of 1966.
The special sections of Amico Museo 2016 this year are dedicated to:
– the activities that museums with special care will activate towards a public with disabilityes and to which will be dedicated special promotional initiatives;
