Everything is ready in Massarosa to welcome more than 100 young participants in the piano competition organized by the Associazione Musicale Massarosa in collaboration with the Misericordia of Massarosa. The talented musicians from more than 20 countries confirm the international relevance of the contest.
The event is in fact regarded as one of the most prestigious competitions in the world and is part of the international circuit thanks to the Foundation Alink-Argerich.
After the selections of the first three days, on June 11 at the Teatro Vittoria Manzoni will take place the final round, where the best ones will be evaluated both by the public in the audience and by the jury.
The winner declared by the audience will receive the Audience Award in memory of Renata Morganti. The jury will decide the absolute winner 2016 only at the very end.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation consisting in a lithograph specially created by the painter Franco Anichini, and featuring the Massarosa territory and the link between culture and music.
This year again the presenter of the final evening will be the journalist and tv host Andrea Montaresi.
