The Mario Tobin Foundation is 10 years old. It celebrates them with a public ceremony in the magnificent Sala Maria Luisa Palazzo Ducale.
Ten years to address a path that could sour, contradictory, slippery as a snake through a well-established paradigm of segregation and dignity denied, seeks to overthrow the social wall and sometimes subtle but persistent prejudices of some medical and healthcare environments on mental illness .
That is a mental illness like any other, and like all the others must be addressed with an updated science instruments, which means therapies aware, a more balanced physician-patient relationship, especially an innovated training system.
For the occasion, there will be presentations of three important critics nationwide, in areas where the work of Mario Tobias has given over the years, life in different cultural products, which are also the areas in which it moves the old search -letteraria implemented by the Foundation.
