In conjunction with Lucca Comics & Games, the great event that sees the city of Lucca undisputed capital of comics and illustration international, sireplica the exhibition The Orlando Curious – the journey of Ludovico Ariosto eni labirnti the fantastic, conceived by the staff of Lucca Comics & Games, the event which this year celebrates 50 years of marriage to Lucca comics.
The exhibition will reread Ariosto's masterpiece in key fantasy. By tapping into the immense wealth of fantastic stories born dall'immaginifica pen Ariosto, exposure proposes to younger audiences using the illustrations of some of the greatest masters of the genre, but also an interactive path made of beautiful dioramas that tell the episodes highlights the Furious, videos dedicated to Sicilian puppets, models with simulations of the armies of the Moors and Christians, maps on trips of different protagonists and a room that simulates the landing of Astolfo on the moon where visitors are called upon to recover, with that of Orlando, its 'lost wits'.
The four artists who were inspired by the 'furious' imagination of Ariosto are Paolo Barbieri, Dany Orizio, Lucio Parrillo, Luca Zontini, real illustration international superstars who have ventured in this fantastic journey that retraces the most attractive points of attention of inspirational fiction
