World music avant la lettre is the tango, whose elaboration contributed rhythms and melodies from around the world agreed in the Americas. A great new event dedicated to Tango in Garfagnana, hosted by the International Academy of Music 2016 is a stop on the route towards the Garfagnana Tango Festival continues with the arrival, directly from Buenos Aires, the young and irrepressible quartet Amores Tangos.
Amores Tangos was born at the beginning of 2008, such a meeting between musicians and friends, who after playing in various orchestras and theaters of Buenos Aires, have decided to put up its own orchestra. The Amores Tangos concerts are a real experience, where you hear the music that reflects the freedom, joy and melancholy, and a tango that is more alive every day.
The first event is Friday, July 2 at 22:00 at Piazza Umberto I, with the most festive side of tango and its rhythms recovered from the oldest traditions and Argentine orchestras and music by Astor Piazzolla, a musical show with dance performances by Nani & Leo and the involvement of the Municipal School of Music of Castelnuovo Garfagnana, with the participation of Richard Grandini (vocals) and arches of the Festival.
Saturday, July 2, to complete the event with a meeting with the Argentine culinary tradition, we move in the municipality of Villa Collemandina, to "Taste Argentina – tasting evening and Asado" – a country day with al fresco dining, typical Argentine barbecue cooked by real "Asadores", with a new exhibition of Amores Tangos and its dancers, milonga, folklore and much more.
