In the exhibition, recent paintings by Daniela Caciagli, Riccardo Corti, Marco Manzella, Guido Morelli, Armando Orfeo, Valente Taddei.
Six artists, different in aesthetic training, style and painting techniques choices, united by a deep spirit of research in the field of contemporary figuration.
In his paintings in oil and acrylic, Daniela Caciagli (Bibbona, 1962) tries to shape reality and imagine it constantly changing, creating fantastic associations of fragments of everyday life, in which the space-time references appear blurred.
The oils of Riccardo Corti (Florence, 1952), an intense visual and strong symbolic impact, create a text-based game of remarkable stylistic value, as part of a synthetic paint, which aims to investigate the sensitive lyrically.
Tempera Marco Manzella (Livorno, 1962) catches the eye the emblematic quality of scenes: the feeling is that of frozen immobility in a silence almost artificial, as if all the elements of the painting were waiting for an upcoming event.
Guido Morelli (La Spezia, 1967) is the author of refined oils from the impression material, in which are depicted synthetic natural landscapes: the artist focuses on a psychological language of the painting, moving away from the descriptive aspects and aiming at a pure fusion of colors and brightness.
The creative universe of Armando Orfeo (Marina di Grosseto, 1964) is close to the world of comics. In his mixed techniques, they are depicted singular urban landscapes in which swaying skyscrapers and bold architecture stand out, in a dimension to a dreamlike and playful time.
Valente Taddei (Viareggio, 1964) creates oil paintings and china from the narrative, minimalist cut, in which a tiny individual conducts a paradoxical existence, suspended in time and indefinite spaces: the artist offers a metaphor of human limitations, playing down, with thin irony, the sense of futility that man can try in front of their own destiny.
The inauguration will be held on Saturday, July 2 at 18:00.
The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog with an introduction by Gianni Costa.
