Since 2004, comes back, every summer, the important event organized by the Fondazione Giorgio Gaber, in memory of the great actor from Milan, father of the "song theatre", and a great admirer of our Province, where he spent long periods of work and relax, in the house of Montemagno, near Camaiore.
The event, founded in Viareggio in 2004 , moved four years ago to Camaiere and then from there expanded to many Tuscan cities creating a billboard full of appointments.
Of the Province of Lucca this year joined the event the towns of Altopascio, Camaiore and Stazzema.
It will be Camaiore, the adopted hometown of Giorgio Gaber, to attract the largest number of evenings.
Each one of the shows with its own style, twil have the purpose of tracking certain aspects of Gaber's irony through a fun roundup of spectacular moments, played by major artists of the Italian comedy. All the shows will be free of charge. In case of bad weather the performances marked with an asterisk will be held in Camaiore at Teatro dell'Olivo, via V. Emanuele.
