A show that combines music at the recital, as well as images and documents both the Risorgimento, both Italian emigration between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
Through words and music Valeriano Pellegrini evokes moods, fears and hopes of those who, between '800 and' 900, left their homeland in search of a possible future, the opportunity of dignified life.
The staged reading of haunting beauty documents, accompanied by music played on the piano by Patrizia Pieraccini, lead the viewer on a journey through history: the one that belongs not only to our nation, but, often, just to the lives of many of our families.
