LUMEN Ilaria del carretto

The photographic work of Nino Migliori  inspired by the sculpture, illuminated candle flame, made the figure of a unified cycle entitled LUMEN, also including the previous series: Lions and metopes of Modena Cathedral and the Lamentation of Nicholas Ark of Santa Maria della Vita (nearing completion in Bologna).
With the addition of the images of Ilaria del Carretto, LUMEN is now a cycle that consists of several acts, produced by a number of institutional and financial entities, distinct for each site, but integrated together from the unity of the formal research of sculptural works of art history, candle-lit candle.

A play of lights and shadows, of light and dark that contribute to stress the unruffled beauty and sumptuousness of Ilaria del Carretto, caught in the moment of eternal sleep where the marble drew Jacopo della Quercia and portrayed today in exceptional and unknown images formal originality.
As part of the immense wealth of the monument photographs, his works differ from each other reproduction.

Divergence and dissonance with respect to the customs, Migliori allow a photographic look completely original, free from the reproductive function.
