La Bella di Nulla is the story of the life of Giuseppina Silvestri, born in Versilia in 1881; a woman with amazing communication skills which has remained indelible in the memory of those who knew her. A true 'character' for her time, and still today a very modern figure: young widow, left alone with two children, with the little money they had she bought a revolver to defend herself and a gramophone to listen to music.
To maintain herself and her family she told sotries in the evening, making her house a theater. People went to her place to, to listen her improvising different stories depending on the topic requested by the public. La Bella di Nulla was the the paternal author's great grandmother.
The show is included in the program of events dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The proceeds will go to the Anti-Violence Center "The One for the Other" Viareggio – Versilia.
