Seguendo la stella cometa (Following the comet star) is the title under which the Animando association called his Christmas concerts, since the birth. The suggestive title in the 2016 edition contains an innovative proposal: no Christmas carols sung by the choir, but the most challenging musical choices, which provide a repertoire ranging from the Ministry of the great Baroque composer Corelli (by Grosso concert 8, "done for the night Claus ") to the resumption of the cantata the advent of the right for soloists, choir, piano and orchestra, written years ago by Maestro Silvano Pieruccini , true dominus of the evening.
More innovations are then formed by the orchestra of well 14 elements, with teachers and students who play side by side and the large choir, a collaboration of three choirs of our territory (S. Felicita of Lucca, St. Cecilia in Marlia, Verciano ).
The impressive musical production will be involved in three performances: Sunday, December 11, at 20.45 in Marlia (Capannori) to the church of Santa Cecilia, during the celebrations for the reopening of the Church; Wednesday 14 at 21:00 in Lucca in the Church of San Paolino; Saturday, 17 to 21, in Capannori in the Parish Church of St. Quirico and Julitta.
