Epea03 is the third edition of the European Photo Exhibition Award which was attended by 12 young photographers, selected by a special commission, who in recent months have tried, following the contest theme "Shifting boundaries", to capture in significant shots the deepest changes in our continent.
The fruit of their labor has originated a collective exhibition with hundreds of images and installations, able to focus the evolution of the European territories, either as a single entity or as individual states.
Thanks to the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca and cooperation with the Province of Lucca, the exhibition of the works by the 12 mentioned photographers will be on display at Villa Argentina from October 15 until December 11 to free admission.
These are the names of the 12 photographers: Arianna Arcara (Italy), Pierfrancesco Celada (Italy), Marthe Aune Eriksen (Norway), Jakob Ganslmeier (Germany), Margarida Gouveia (Portugal), Marie Hald (Denmark), Dominic Hawgood (United Kingdom) Robin Hinsch (Germany), Ildikó Péter (Hungary), Eivind H. Natvig (Norway), Marie Sommer (France) and Christina Werner (Austria).
