ON WEDNESDAY – 'Uno Squarcio tra le mura'

Villa Argentina, Viareggio's Art Nouveau jewel, hosts every Wednesday afternoon a meeting between writers and readers. The event is promoted by 'Comitato per la valorizzazione di Villa Argentina' and is assisted by the 'Bookshop Lungomare' of Viareggio. To all participants will be offered an aperitif by 'Deltabevande Food Beverage Wine' from Massarosa and by Pasticceria Puccinelli Viareggio.

Today's book presentation is "Uno Squarcio tra le mura" by Laura Adamo (Robin Edizioni), born in Palermo in 1983, who has dedicated ten years of her life to theater, earning a degree in science and entertainment technologies. Later she discovered her passion for writing, so that she won a prize for young dramatists in her hometown, organized by the theater school Teatès, but also a competition for short stories organized by the cultural Vortex Temporum.

In this book the author narrates about the journey of a young heiress to discover truth, but she will have to break down much more than the solid walls of a castle: the walls of silence of an entire village hostile to anything that has to do with her family. The answers she will find, go far beyond her expectations, bringing her into conflict with the past of her gloomy grandfather and with herself.

At the presentation the author will participate, introduction and presentation by the writer Laura Nicodemi.
