The 2017 edition of the Guitar Festival organized by the musical "Boccherini" is dedicated to Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and will be one of the most complete exploration ever done of his works for guitar, which represent perhaps the most important contribution given by a musician of the twentieth century literature for this instrument. First dates are for Tuesday 7 and Wednesday, February 8, with a seminar and two concerts.

h 21:00 – Auditorium del Suffragio. Concert by Carlo Marchione, appreciated and eclectic guitarist whose training ranges from classical music to flamenco and jazz, winner of numerous national and international first prizes.

h 21:00 – Auditorium del Suffragio. Concert by Adriano Del Sal.
In the program, among others, works by JS Bach, A. Barrios-Mangore, J. Rodrigo, G. Regondi and Andantino almost song, 2 nd movement from Sonata Op.77, Omaggio a Boccherini of Castelnuovo-Tedesco. Adriano Del Sal is one of the most significant young performers of recent years. In 2003 he received the prestigious award "The Golden Guitar" as the best young performer of the year at the international level at the International Guitar Congress of Alexandria .
