MADE IN FORTE 1.0

Paths of art and light for the urban center of Forte dei Marmi that becomes a stage of a cultural and artistic event curated by Beatrice Audrito and David Sarchioni to bring art to the center of city life.

Nine artists selected for different generation sources and forms of expression, which have been invited to reflect on the urban context with nine installations capable of providing a new reading of the city, both from an aesthetic point of view both historical and cultural level.

The installations will form an urban art trail through the streets of the center, touching the heart of the Forte dei Marmi and culminating in Piazza Marconi, with a
specially designed light fitting by the architect Alberto Bartalini and realized by the Reica Luninarie by Luigi Fiorentini Company. The itinerary, which can be pleasantly travelled on foot or by bicycle and be enjoyed during daytime, but also by night, thanks to  the special lighting design.

Nine locations are the place where the artists give shape to their vision:

Gustavo Aceves, Thomas Lange and Matteo Nasini have created for the wharf area extremely poetic works, working with suggestions offered by the sea.

Antonio Barbieri, Valentina Palazzari and Caterina Tosoni have collected their impressions coming from the urban fabric to reflect on everyday reality.

Oliviero Rainaldi and Helidon Xhixha, working respectively terracotta and marble, will offer moments of intimate contemplation of humans and nature.

Finally, Gregorio Botta, whose work is placed inside the Fortino, a symbol of the town, will try to stimulate a philosophical reflection about concept and matter.
