Progetto finanziato da:

FEDERICO VOLPI

Born in Viareggio in 1988, and graduated in painting in 2013 at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, Federico Volpi takes inspiraton for his paintings by local landscapes and themes, in particular from Lake Massaciuccoli by using techniques which recall Pop Art and the art of Japanese prints.

Of the lake landscape in which he lived he reproduces flowers, fish and colors that he wisely elaborates with great personality: sinuous  fish, birds, shrimp, jump, fight, are interwoven with the ripples of lake waves, the thread of his art. On the surface of the instruments on display in the exhibition, the author is able to modulate a pop soul with a refined Japanese spirit.
Everything revolves around the wild nature of the lake, which is vital although in danger but still capable of evoking suggestions.

The exhibition is part of the Project S.T.ART – Save & Tourism Art and is sponsored by the city of Pietrasanta. The inauguration will be held Saturday, February 11 at 17:00.
