After the success of the Summer Café which attracted a large audience in the most famous Italian talk show, the winter edition of the Versiliana Café comes back in the winter location of Chiostro sant'Agostino in Pietrasanta, with a program of conferences hosting popular guests and authors invited by Fondazione La Versiliana.
The conference of Saturday, March 25 at 17:30 is about "Il Cerchio della vita – Economia circolare ed equilibrio fra le specie. Alla ricerca di un equilibrio con l’ambiente per migliorare la nostra vita e rispettare la natura."
Valerio Rossi Albertini, professor of Materials Science at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", head of the CNR department, science writer and well-known in TV, concretely illustrates the benefits of the circular economy, a concept that includes recycling and reuse of waste, but above all represents a philosophy of life. Another guest will be Mauro Spagnolo, architect and journalist, who is dealing with sustainability and quality of life since 25 years also as Head of the SEI (Sistemi Energetici Integrati) at the Interuniversity Research Centre for Sustainable Development "La Sapienza."
From circular economy to biology of conservation, Luigi Boitani, one of the greatest Italian zoologists and world-renowned wolf experts, will face the theme of balance between species and the cohabitation between man and wolf.
Fabrizio Diolaiuti will participate with a demonstration of collecting wild herbs and their properties, for example artemisia and stregonella.
