Return appointments Between the lines Winter Festival Barga, a series of literary events tended part of the Public Library activities "Fratelli Rosselli", in collaboration with major societal and cultural realities of the Serchio Valley territory. The event now in its fifth edition, offers literary meetings in collaboration with the Hotel Institute ISI, with the CAI Barga, with Unitre and Slow Food Garfagnana and Serchio Valley.
In the foreground the memory of our ancestors through the rock carvings found in the Tuscan mountains. Then the hunger for war with the little recipes and without, told and re-proposed with the hotel management school. And finally some stories about life in the valley in the sixties that highlight the change in a few years of entire communities.

17:30 – Library Villa Gherardi, presentation of the book by Patrizia Bartoli “Travestimento proibito”. Introduces Paola Stefani, Giovanna and Andrea Stefani Giannasi. In collaboration with Unitre Barga.
Friday, April 7
h 21:00 – Barga Palazzo Pancrazi assembly all. The Barga CAI Among the books and rows, present the book “La memoria della Roccia” by Giancarlo Sani. A trip through the mountains of Tuscany to discover the ancestral footsteps of our ancestors, who used the Apuan rocks or the Apennines for religious rituals, devotions, moments of initiation or signs related to deities like motherhood.
Saturday, April 8
h 11:00 Barga homeroom ISI. On the occasion of the Slow Food Day, the Slow Food Garfagnana and Serchio Valley, Between the Lines books and ISI of Barga, present the book “Fame di guerra” Simonetta Simonetti. Participate, with the author, Joan Stefani, Catia Gonnella, Alessio Pedri, Ivo Poli, Andrea Giannasi. It is a journey through the First World War and the fifties to explore the changes of Italian cuisine. Scarcity and the birth of the little food and no, the war recipes; by autarkic table until the education of women being "master of recycling and reuse." A slogan of all: "the little food and no."
Finally, as a tradition, studying an off event that will be presented in the coming weeks.
