Carmassi is presented in this exhibition as a sculptor and painter, its primary activity, but not the only.
Singular Artist, great and free experimenter, researcher multifaceted, surrealist, abstract artist is mostly
informal master of simplification of the language.
Thanks to Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation, some of the works of Carmassi out of the exhibition area by animating some squares of the city of Lucca: everyone can so admire its elegant carvings and dynamic projected vectorially in space, but at the same time close to the architecture of the city on their reflective surfaces will be able to mirror.
In the exhibition spaces of the Foundation's object compositions we will instead be collected and the paintings that tell us a precise search, tireless, wise and scientifically conducted on color, material, volume and space that this great master has exercised throughout his life.
