The book, edited by Piero Lacaita Publisher, reconstructs writing, images and documents the two passions that Senator Giovanni Pieraccini has grown along with his wife Vera for life: politics and art.
Through the biographical path, the book offers an original reading of the various seasons – political and cultural – that Pieraccini has lived as a protagonist, first as a parliamentarian and minister, then to the leadership of important public bodies as Assitalia, or cultural associations and foundations and artistic as Romaeuropa.
The result is an image of a cultured personality, attentive to the new problems posed by the evolution of contemporary society, with a commitment to the common good, particularly with regard to the protection and enhancement of the artistic and cultural heritage.
