The first of the two "Spring Meetings", scheduled for Wednesday 10 May at 21:00 at the Vincenzo da Massa Carrara Conference Room in the Complex of San Micheletto, will be dedicated to Gillo Dorfles, with the screening of Francesco Leprino's documentary "La guerra del tempo. Poems by Gillo Dorfles read from himself"
The video is a recent testimony of the great art critic, painter and philosopher born in Trieste in 1910 (the footage dates back a few months ago), who reads his poems from the forties in a surreal and ironic atmosphere, in which Dorfles " Enter "in his paintings of the time, comment on his poems and contrast with Bach's music, as well as climbing mountains, volcanoes and skyscrapers of the new Milan, navigating the seas and, new Astolfo, arriving even on the moon …
The 45-minute documentary will be preceded by the official greetings by Giorgio Tori and Paolo Bolpagni (president and director of Fondazione Ragghianti) and introduced by director Francesco Leprino and Aldo Colonetti, philosopher, historian and theorist of ' Art, design and architecture.
There is also a live interview at Gillo Dorfles, a video conference from his home in Milan, accompanied by Luigi Sansone's art critic.
