ALPINI PILGRIMAGE – Monte Argegna

The monumental complex is located in a wide expanse of lawn Argegna on the mountain, with panoramic views of the Apuan Alps.
The complex, erected in memory of the Alpini, is composed of a bell votive bronze, six stones in cement, a block of marble with functions altar. The individual monuments rely on a large concrete base. The centerpiece of the complex is the bell dedicated to the fallen of all wars around the world and supported by two large concrete pillars.

The largest bell weighs eleven o'clock votive tons and the two pillars that sustain echo the stylized motif of the "feathers off shotgun", ie the Alpine guerra. In front of the altar is placed the marble block, within which there is a glass case containing the land of Don and an inscription in honor of the Mountain of the Don.
The six stones, arranged in a semicircle on the basic plan, indicate as many Alpine Divisions: Cunense, Graian, Taurinense Tridentine Pusteria, Julia
