In September 1985, as the first title of the Lyrical Season of that year at Teatro del Giglio, it was represented Alfredo Catalani's "Dejanice", a historical drama that represents the loving conflict between two women, one of which will be sacrificed to secure happiness to the rival and to the beloved man. Carla Basto was Dejanice, Ottavio Garaventa Admeto, Director John Latham Konig.
On the occasion of the 163th year of the birth of Master Alfredo Catalani, the Circolo della Musica "A.
