Two days of theoretical and practical research about the world of natural dying and the techniques of waving, dedicated to everyone who wants to taka a challange.
Thanks to the presence of specialized reenactors we will enter the world of the XIII century textile production. We will discover the different nuances that nature can give to yarn and pieces of fabric. We will learn how to turn the yarn into a woven ribbon by using the technique of card waving.
The participation fee includes: admittance to the fortezza delle Verrucole and guided visit, participation to the workshop and the used materials. Each participant will keep the woven and dyed clothes and the ribbon woven during the class.
Registration is requested, maximum number of participants 12 (participants must be older than 12 years).
