The Half Marathon City of Lucca is held every year on the first Sunday of May in conjunction with the recreational motor race La Lucchesina race walk open to all through the streets of the city. It is a male and female athletics specialty. It is a road race on the distance of Km. 21.0975.
The first edition of the Capannori and Porcari City of Lucca Marathon was organized in October 2009, starting from the Urban Walls to continue to Marlia, Porcari, Capannori and Antraccoli with a return to the historic center of Lucca.
