The Montecarlo Wine Festival represents the main event of valorization and promotion of Montecarlo, of its artistic and landscape beauties, of its numerous cultural excellences, of its secular historical and religious traditions, of its typical products.
The festival, among the oldest in Tuscany, has very distant traditions and has always been linked to its typical product, Montecarlo, its wine: the first edition of the September Montecarlo event took place in 1968; although over the years its name has changed, first "Wine Festival", then "Exhibition of typical wines", and again "Montecarlo in festival" and then "Montecarlo, Terra di Vino", up to the current " Wine Festival ", the event has always aimed to promote the ancient village, its typical products such as wine and oil and the hospitality and restaurant facilities present in the territory.
