Permanent Archaeological Exhibition of the Municipality of Capannori – Didactics

The exhibition displays objects dating back to different eras: from Prehistory to the Metal Age, from the Etruscans to the Roman era, from the Medieval to the Renaissance periods. Both the regular excavations and the surface collections provided a large harvest of finds. These include black painted specimens, sealed Italic and African. In the exhibition room, an early medieval tomb was rebuilt, part of a sepulchral complex found in Vorno. In addition to the museum objects, it is possible to visit both the laboratory and the deposit. The exhibition features a multimedia room and a specialized library.
